Estimados académicos,
Les compartimos la invitación que nos hace el Dr. Morris Freeman y su equipo al "National Neurology Grand Round & Joint Adult and Pediatric Symposium":
The next National Neurology Grand Round will take place on Friday, November 26th at 10:55 am ET (Toronto). It will be the keynote talk of the next larger joint symposium on transition care hosted by the Divisions of Adult and Pediatric Neurology, University of Toronto. In addition to the National Neurology Grand Round, all are welcome to attend the full symposium.
Our second symposium will feature visiting professor Dr. Hope O’Brien from Cincinnati, Ohio (headache) as well as local speakers from existing transition care programs in the division. We wish to collaborate with other programs within the University of Toronto, across Canada and globally with the goal of sharing information and experiences on transition care and advance this field for all patients with neurological conditions. Recurrent headaches are common and can persist through a person’s development. Many clinicians find it difficult to treat intractable headaches in adult. Unfortunately, limited information exists on how to capture and prevent intractable cases during the transition phase of adolescents as they become adults. During this presentation, you’ll be better equipped with ideas and tools that will help navigate patients that require on-going headache management, into successful transition.
Atentamente,
Mesa Directiva de la Academia Mexicana de Neurología.
